⛳Restake Native ETH via Arbitrum

Native ETH can be restaked on Eigenpie as egETH directly from Arbitrum by leveraging the Chainlink CCIP technology. egETH is Eigenpie’s Liquid Restaking Token specifically designed for users who restake native ETH on our platform.
Two distinct liquid restaking features have been introduced to offer flexibility and also enable unlimited participation. Here’s an overview of each:
The “Fast Restake” or “Fast Liquid Restaking” is an option that allows users to restake small amounts of ETH into egETH directly from Arbitrum via Eigenpie without any cross-chain interactions. This process is enabled by the Eigenpie team, which pre-supplies a limited amount of egETH in a smart contract on Arbitrum. Users who restake their ETH can acquire this egETH, while their restaked ETH is deposited into the contract. The maximum amount available corresponds to the quantity of egETH initially provided by Eigenpie. Please note that a small fee will be charged by Eigenpie in order to ensure consistent and optimal operations.
The “Slow Restake” or “Slow Liquid Restaking” involves cross-chain transactions, and users must cover the network fees associated with restaking. In this mode, users deposit their native ETH on Eigenpie via Arbitrum, and the platform bridges the ETH to Ethereum L1 for restaking using Chainlink CCIP. Eigenpie restakes 100% of the deposited ETH, and once the process is complete, users will receive egETH on Arbitrum. The entire process typically takes about 30 minutes under normal network conditions, as the assets are bridged, restaked, and then bridged back as egETH to Arbitrum. This mode has no limit on restaking and is designed for large amounts of ETH.
By integrating Chainlink CCIP, we directly connect Arbitrum users to the benefits of EigenLayer, allowing them to engage with DeFi protocols across their preferred networks. Our “Fast Restake” and “Slow Restake” options ensure that participants can interact with EigenLayer in the way that best suits their preferences and needs.
