Actively Validated Services (AVS) in the EigenLayer ecosystem encompass a range of systems that require distinct distributed validation mechanisms for verification. These systems include, but are not limited to, sidechains, data availability layers, new virtual machines, keeper networks, oracle networks, bridges, threshold cryptography schemes, and trusted execution environments.

AVS are instrumental in expanding the EigenLayer platform's functionality and security, permitting Ethereum validators to restake their beacon chain ETH, accept asset delegations, and operate specialized software tailored for AVS. In the EigenLayer ecosystem, AVS also support integration with LSTs.

```
The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
